So jealous it hurts. I've been cruising ebay looking for a deal on fanatec gear lately, but so far I haven't pulled the trigger on anything. I'm still just using a controller but...but...I'm up against stuff like this? Dude.

How do you get out of it when you're unjustifiably drunk?

Lol thanks man I take it as compliment I live for my racing so I could justify the build cost and I fabricate for living so guess the labour just cost me my time I absolutely love my csr gear it's truly heads and shoulders above Xbox racing wheel which I had before...as for the drunk part you should never ever drink and drive! Wink) build cost around £300 plus 30 hours of my time

NICE!!!... I love the layout! Have you thought about putting casters on it? This way it's easier to move around and wont move when you play! They actually make a cam system with casters for table saws and other heavy tools... I'll see if I can find a link for you...

I will building one in the Spring.... There is a "Pick-a-part" here, so I know where I will be getting the seat... I already have the Fanatec (love it), with the shifters... I have a 32" LCD, but it's on the fritz... It's actually a known issue with the Samsung model LCD we have... If I can get it working or just get a new one, I'll start my build!

So as a fabricator, you charge 100/ hr? So 3300 total?

Nice job by the way. Need a bigger tv though. Need the Sharp 80" for "total immersion".

For him, it's only another 300 since he got the rig for "free".

£45 so about $80... I agree about tv it has a 22 at the moment which surprisingly isn't too bad but I built with a 28 in mind but.......it will be 3 x 28 inch screens if you know what I mean Cool

3x80? Why not just do 3x LCD or LED projectors so the screens are seamless... Very Happy That's what I'd do! Wink I may even use a projector for my rig... Size all depends on distance! Very Happy

The 22 that's on it ain't bad at all it's 3 feet from my face so it's pretty good size ...in reference it's the same as being 12 feet from a 65 inch screen which is in my front room

Is that a Ford Escort Cosworth? I am upset that Ford never brought the Cosworth versions of their cars here to the states... Sad We get the SVT versions (and the SHO), but nothing as special as the Cosworth editions!
