drag racing tourque!!

i was watchin this video on youtube about how to tune your car for drag racing so i followed everything for it and he said keep changing your gear ratio's so you can keep you max tourque up that high when you change gear and i cant seem to keep 600 lb of torque when i change gear so any help would be great thanks !!!

It about Drop Catch tuning and driving for the drag strip! I use this method of driving and tuning, and It's pretty solid! I was able to win all of the drag races we had during the May club series!
