Plug your Ipod into the xbox

Listen to your music like this with Forza and the game tunes it's own music and plays yours and then when you racing it sounds your playing the radio in the car.

You mean physically plug the ipod in to the xbox USB?

So I gave this a shot. Didn't work at first.

A little google work and on the app store, get "sync:stream". Once you got that, I did the following:
Plugged iphone into the 360.
Activate Sync Stream on the iphone.
Press the home button on the 360.
Go over to Media.
Scroll down to "Select Source" (Not sure if that's the exact wording.)
Select the sync stream and away you go.

Gotta say, much more fun listening to my music vs the usual soundtrack (not that it was bad, but after so many months, it means nothing).

I'll give this a try tomorrow. Thanks for the instructions. Is it just random or can you control what artist/album is played? If it's random I'm going to have to switch some stuff out. Currently have a lot of Dylan loaded up and as great as I think he is, I dont think he'd be much fun to race to!

You can create playlists I believe (whether it recognizes Apple playlists I dunno).

But you can specify song, artist, album or randomize it. Haven't really played much into it.

Songs from itunes dont work because theyre mp4s and only the white xboxs recognize the ipods which is a little bit stupid.

I got it to work through sync stream. Nice!

Good job xray! It seems that sometimes when i play music do better.

Thanks for the tip. I could always rock out to another set of speakers but I like the mix through Forza, with the engine and squealing tires louder than the music.

Does this only work with newer ipods?
