I have been coming up with random ideas this past week and this is another: Say if you have a Carrera GT. You can upgrade it to S-700 and tune it then save that as "S class tune" or whatever. Then, you could upgrade it to R3-800 and tune it and save it, etc. You can do the same with fully upgrading it. With online lobbies, you can choose the setup for the class you want and it will change the upgrades and everything. Now you have a car that can enter multiple classes without having to go and configure all the upgrades again.
