Between Home, work and tuning for the may series, I haven't run since the first one...! Building a grid for you BTW HotDog!
Re: u2sc Leaderboard Challenge
Also... have you seen the posted idea about the Tuner Races?
Here: https://u2sc.forumotion.co.uk/t244-tuner-series-sign-ups
and
Here: https://u2sc.forumotion.co.uk/t236-comparing-tuners-club-series
We were talking about potentially combining that with this... Thoughts?

Re: u2sc Leaderboard Challenge
I like the tables, but probably cant use them in my browser
Ill check out the thread now, sounds intresting though
edit: Checked the thread out, to be honest I think we should keep them seperate. The tuning challenge forces people to use the same cars, where as this gives people complete freedom to climb the boards.
Also noticed Iberian has 6 layouts, so it wont end until next Sunday.
Edit: Ping
Just wondering, are many people still interested in this? If not I'll stop running it, will save me making new vinyls if no one is bothered

Re: u2sc Leaderboard Challenge
I like these challenges but it doesn't look like many other people participate. I mean, if I'm getting the silver at Silverstone, there must be something wrong! No one even ponged a track/class for this week.ThrowMeAHotdog wrote:Just wondering, are many people still interested in this? I forgot all about this. I'm interested. Seems all I have been racing is a trans am. Surprised that dashboard isn't burned into my tv.

I still do it cause it gives me a nice incentive to run a hotlap around different tracks and use different cars... I think everyone is just real busy with the series races, there's tons of tuning/testing involved. I'd still run the tracks even if nobody else did!

Re: u2sc Leaderboard Challenge
Okay, I gave y'all a chance. I'm picking now:
Pong!
Tsukuba / E Class
Short track and only two layouts so the late start on the week shouldn't be a factor. Let's see some May/June dates on the Club Leaderboards!!

I usually race everything put up. I don't think anybody will see my name top of club board though I'm trying.

Re: u2sc Leaderboard Challenge
I'll see if I can throw up an E-Class in the club garage before I go on vacation Friday.... I think the Alfa Montreal I have in the garage is actually E-Class. It's pretty fast, but I don't think it's an LB car...
Re: u2sc Leaderboard Challenge
Yeah, that Alfa is a E Class but probably not going to cut it. I apparently put up a decent time (third in the club?) at Tsukuba with an untuned E Class Porsche 914/6 the other day. That might be worth looking into.BiggLou55 wrote:I'll see if I can throw up an E-Class in the club garage before I go on vacation Friday.... That one is on my short list... The 550 spider is there as well... I'll have to look...
Re: u2sc Leaderboard Challenge
Looks like the ever so fun to drive Chevy Spark (sarcasm is great) has the E-Class records on the Full and Short courses on the LB... Looks like there are a few Corvette C1's thrown in for good measure....
Tuners..... I will work on a Spark and C1 if I can, but I'm trying to get the June tunes locked down....
Wonder if the 914 or 550 can challenge the LB times!

You must be buried up to your eyes in tunes right now... Tell me if you want any help and I could send a few base tunes your way if you wantBiggLou55 wrote:Looks like the ever so fun to drive Chevy Spark (sarcasm is great) has the E-Class records on the Full and Short courses on the LB... Re: u2sc Leaderboard Challenge
Don't forget about this, guys- E Class, Tsukuba. B08MATH and myself have the only times I noticed from this week. I'm currently sitting at number in the club on both layouts using a Lotus Élan Sprint. Surely someone can knock me from that spot. (But if you beat me with a Chevy Spark, you're lame! )

Re: u2sc Leaderboard Challenge
Just seen this, probably wont have time today
I'm thinking about running each for twice as long, so 2 weeks for under 3 circuits and a month for 4+, gives people more time to get involved. Any thoughts?

I'm new to the club, but I like this idea. At the very least I can work my way towards having decent clean laps at every circuit

I used your Elan from the shared garage Good little car! I couldn't match your times, but I improved my own by some margin

Re: u2sc Leaderboard Challenge
Shinnsoon... We'll always have cars tuned in the garage... Any car by me up there has a either a general Lobby tune or a specific rival/track tune. I've actually started using difference livery graphics... To identify the use... I'm working on more so I can denote track/rival and other stuff. The garage is frustrating because of the lack of information available for shared cars...

My very first "club activity" was doing an autocross rivals on Motegi using your Skyline 2000 GT-R I don't know what my original time was or which car I used, but I immediately beat it and then improved by a further 14 sec. Car drove really well. Yesterday I used your Alfa GTA for another rivals and it was a treat. I tried to go to your Storefront to see if the tune was there for sale, but the Forza server kept kicking me back to the main Community page Don't know why, because everything else worked. Will try again tonight.
I don't do any tuning myself, because I'll just make the car worse (unless it's the kind of tuning like that featured in DiRT3, i.e. a couple of sliders with labels written in bold ... )

Thanks for the feedback. I was happy with how that car turned out. I tuned it myself! So proud.shinnsoon wrote:xraydash wrote:Don't forget about this, guys- E Class, Tsukuba.
