After a forza xbox session..
Is it just me or does anyone else notice their real life driving becomes a bit more aggresive after playing a few hours of Forza.
I had to constantly tell myself to calm down and relax while driving to work the other day or it was going to get expensive or at worst custodial

LOL
When I was younger I kinda had that problem.
I think I was playing Grand Theft Auto for hours on end. Went out with friends. I can't tell you how enticing it was to punt people out of my way. Then real life kicked in. But it sure was fun to fantasize.

Re: After a forza xbox session..
I've not noticed any change, but I'm a pretty aggressive (but safe) driver. I don't weave, tailgate or drive dangerously, but I do drive fast when conditions permit. I love my little Celica. It's not a fast car when compared to today's sports cars, but you know what they say. It's more fun to drive a slower car fast then driving a faster car slow!
Re: After a forza xbox session..
I know what you mean. I had been trying to beat the KOTT for about 3 hours last week. I had been playing long enough that I did not need to look at the redline to switch gears, I could tell by the sound of the engine. So I pretty much went from three hours of playing to in my car and off to work. I drive manual and I found myself revving the engine up to redline before shifting, not a good idea when you are looking for third in a residential area.

looking for third.... so, since you drive a Lambo ( ) we're talking close to 160 KPH!!!
Re: After a forza xbox session..
Ha ha, yeah right. If you saw my other post about my life, I think I answered that Lambo question. I posted that photo as a joke. So no I was not at 160 but still too high for a res area. I have told my wife however, if we ever win the lottery, that is the car I am getting.

I know you did... If you have the money to buy a Lambo, you'd be out racing it instead of racing us! More than likely anyway... Except on Rainy days too of course!
Re: After a forza xbox session..
If I had the money to buy a Lambo I think I would still play the game. But I know for a fact that I would not miss a race night because of work.
Lou, your Preds are still looking good, with a Big Russian coming to help. I am looking forward to your Predator painted car so I can race you in my Leafs mobile. You will probably kick my butt like the real teams.

Heh... Maybe... I'll make sure to apply it to my Aston Martin Racer as well!
And they do look good... Edmonton kicked us in the nuts last night (or should I say the Officials did)... We got beat fair and square, but the Refs made it hurt worse...

Yeah I've noticed I have a slighter heavier foot when I drive. And my girlfriend knows of my Forza craze, so if I'm driving along at a relaxing pace she'll bring up Forza and she'll taunt me to drive faster lol.

I've always been an auto crosser so I'm all the time focusing on my lines in the curves but now often find myself wishing for a reverse button.

I'm a pretty laid back driver, but I sure as hell can't go to bed for at least 30 minutes after a good race -

Re: After a forza xbox session..
Definately, one time I was driving through a quiet housing estate after playing for several hours, I didn't realise at first but I was moving over to the right before a left turn and vice versa to take a 'racing line'. It was only after about 4 junctions I noticed I was sub-consciously driving like a tw*t
