Got it down to 1.06.935 this morning with more tuning and laps, laps, laps Laughing

I have a hour or so to play and then it 's to the airport to head out for work. Hopefully I can meet the secret Rolling Eyes

time he has to pick up the unicorn.

Looks like that's as fast as I'm going to be, I am officially tired of looking at that track.

Test drove Frank's updated tune, it's a beast! I felt the car needed some attitude, so I took a break from running and laid down some paint. I will post pics in my design thread, linked in my sig

I updated my tune as well after running my original until my right elbow felt like someone was driving a railroad spike into it... The updated tune is in on my Pinto in the garage. Unfortunately, I was unable to really run that long with it due to my elbow (which is still pretty sore), but I was able to shave almost .500 off my time in 3 laps with it.... I know there is another second or two in it, so it could be a sub 1:07.xxx tune... Please test it out and let me know...

I honestly believe that you will be good for the unicorn with that time, just maybe not enough to actually beat Phred.

I just squeaked under 1:06 with a 1:05.987. I know I can do a little better though because that run was a little sloppy on a couple of the turns. I'm done for today though. Razz

Down to within .020 of Frank's time with Frank's car...I know I can push that car to around Fear's time but I just did 25 laps and most of them were dirty... Frank's line through that sharp right hander is INSANE. I don't know how he holds his speed through that damn turn

I followed his ghost around as a guide.

On one lap, I was right behind him. How he didn't dirty that right hander is beyond me. Wasn't able to get close to him after that.

Funny, I can usually stay in front of the ghost until you go under the bridge. I guess I carry way too much speed going into the left. And any gain I make on the first bit is all lost by the time I come out of that bridge.

I managed a 1:06.6. And that's about as good as I'm gonna get.

I haven't used this particular tune by SMS Flunky but some of his others have been excellent. He posts the settings here so you can build your own. Thought you guys might interested for comparison purposes in case you didn't see it on the Forza boards:

@mark and @ marm I just watched the replays of your laps.

I made a corner speed notes and found out that my lap was slow until the risk corner (the right before the bridge). The turn needs to be cut that you nearly hitting the wall then it will be a clean lap or a wall hit. Razz

And don't ask me how many times I had wall contact in that turn way too often. Laughing

Mark your lap with my line in that turn could be near 1:04

Marm your line after the bridge is great until the fast right that turn needs to be a bit faster but you loosing much time in the risk corner you need to cut or the following left is messed up

I will try to get a bit faster now. Laughing

Yeah Frank...with your tune I could stay ahead until that slow sharp right hander, you basically fly through it and I lose all my momentum. And then I catch up again after that but it's too late.

Going back into the office and may reveal the secret time later today but safe to say it is around 10 seconds slower than my time on my personal gamertag.

I'm not far off and might try again to beat him outright but no biggie if I can't or don't have time. Looks like a lot of us have a unicorn coming!

For whatever reason I could not settle into any of the tunes in the garage...which was really weird, cuz Lou's tune had been my best time, and Franks tunes are normally 'my thing'. I used M3Rockets tune, and squeaked in just behind Marm with a 1:06:788 ...and like Marm, I'm done. I could do 60 more laps, but it would be for 1/10th of a sec.

Will have to hope this is good enough for the RX7.

Looking at leaderboards...1:03?????!! whaaaa?? Neutral

Also, on a side note, I played with the Pacer...1:10'ish I think was my best clean lap

Looks like I'm out on this one.... I just couldn't find the time to sit down and run this one....

Honestly... After Friday night, my right elbow is still sore as hell... Between the series race, the after-lobby, the August testing, and then running Fuelish all in the same stretch, I think I did something not-so-good to my right arm... Right in the soft spot at the end of my forearm above the funny bone... OUUUUCH!!!

That's kewl. I beat that time with the Pacer, so that is nice to have 'earned' it even without the LB car What a Face

...now the question is, can I beat it with the King Cobra, or Gremlin?
